August 5: President’s reception – We invite August graduates and their families to join us for a celebration reception at the President’s Mansion from 3-4 p.m.

August 6: Commencement

August 17: Fall classes begin

August 24: Last day to drop a course with a grade of “W.”  This is a student’s last opportunity to drop a course. Drops after this date must be approved and processed by the student’s college.

September 5: Classes dismissed for Labor Day (UA closed)

October

October 7: Undergraduate application deadline. Application must be submitted through myBama.

October 24: Spring 2017 class registration begins
