At long last, I've tried out Gulivert's 6.8 theme, and it is incredible. I've added it to the list below as Guli-simply...download it. Love it. SOrry it took me so damn long! ~sidhe
My FVWM Theme - (screenshot) (screenshot) (screenshot)
Features: menu-based wallpaper selection, thumbnailed minimization, multiple window decorations, minimization bar, program-launching dock, auto-hiding console, pager
My current fvwm theme, packed. This is very heavily based on Ikaro's, and currently even uses the same window decorations, and many of the same icons. Several chunks of it have been heavily modified to suit my needs, and parts of the window decoration "system" have been adjusted to make them more interchangable. The following MAY be needed for full functionality (but not required for basic installation): imagemagick, fvwm-themes, Esetroot
Features: menu-based wallpaper selection, extremely lightweight, iconic minimization, split fvwm2rc, easy to modify
This theme from themes.freshmeat.org is lightweight, easy to modify, ans serves as a great starter fvwm file for a beginner. Very dark.

Features: menu-browsing, thumbnails, a dock, headlines, unique window decorations

Features: menu-based wallpaper selection with thumbnails, menu-based decor selection (!), split fvwm2rc
Author's notes:You will obviously have to go through the Menu file and take out all the stuff you don't have and add in all the stuff you do; there are conditional statements that can be used when building a menu to only show stuff that exists - but i didn't use them ;-) Also - install xosd - it provides a handy tool called osd_cat which allows things to display temporary on screen display messages, i've used it a bit (volume controls, win+d to show date, etc)

Gulivert's theme,Guli-simply, by Gulivert - (screenshot)
Features: multiple theme capability, comes with wallpapers, wallpaper-browsing, custom pager, complies with Xorg 6.8: functions for transparency and shadows!

This is one of the most incredible themes I have seen. Gulivert has created a pager reflecting each of 6 desktops...each of which have different wallpapers. It includes 6.8 features such as showing and transparency, with switches to turn these (admittedly resource intensive) features on and off. The fvwm is split into a LOT of files, and is thus not included separately. I have rearranged the files slightly to make installation easier (forgive me, Gulivert;-) ) but you'll still need to move the modules into the directory containing other modules, if you plan on trying out transparency. The extra features require xcompmgr and transset, and may require editing you xorg.conf file. Either way, try this one out! ~sidhe
