“The Free State of Jones” – Movie Screening and Discussion with Dr. Victoria Bynum

The History Department will be screening the 2016 movie "The Free State of Jones" on Thursday, March 1, at 3:30pm in Gorgas 205. The film will be followed by a discussion with historian Victoria Bynum. Dr. Bynum’s 2001 book, The Free State of Jones: Mississippi’s’ Longest War, chronicles the compelling stories of individuals featured in the film.
