RESERVED SEATING in the Allen Bales!
Remember that the Allen Bales Theatre now has reserved seating! Subscribers can enjoy guaranteed seats to these exciting studio productions. Just like in our Gallaway Theatre, the House Right section is now the 100s (for example A 104), the Center is now the 200s (for example A 204), and the House Left section is now the 300s (for example A 304). Reserve your seats today to ensure that you have the best possible seats. No more worrying about getting a great seat to a great play...
we’ve taken care of that for you!
SATURDAY MATINEES AND “TALK BACK” SERIES
Since last season, we’ve offered a 2:00pm Saturday matinee for all of our Gallaway and Allen Bales Theatre productions. Join us for these Saturday matinee performances and stick around afterward for a special “Talk Back” series with members of the company. Even if you can’t make it to the Saturday matinee, you are welcome to join us for this informative and entertaining treat where you can learn how we make magic happen!
Ticket Exchanges
If you know you cannot make it to your scheduled performance, call the Box Office at least 24 hours in advance of the scheduled performance date/time. And there’s never a charge! Exchanges are made on a seat-available basis for the same production only. If there is not another date/time of that performance that you can attend, you may donate your ticket back to the Box Office for redistribution. Your tickets are void and cannot be exchanged once your performance has occurred. There are no refunds for missed performances.
Extra Tickets
Need extra tickets for family, friends, or business associates? You can bring along a guest and purchase a discounted ticket ($2.00 off the regular ticket price). We’ll seat them with you whenever possible or happily adjust your current seats to allow you to sit with your guest(s), whichever you prefer. Seating is based on availability.
Lost Ticket Replacement
If you lose or misplace your tickets, please call the Box Office before your performance date and we will be happy to provide replacements at Will Call.
Latecomers
For the safety of our patrons and for the integrity of our productions, latecomers may not be seated in the Gallaway or Allen Bales Theatres. Also, patrons who leave the theatre while a performance is in progress may be asked to wait until intermission for re-admission. Please see the House Manager for details.
Standby Tickets
When a performance is sold out, the Box Office will sell Standby Tickets to patrons who arrive 1 hour prior to curtain. Standby Tickets are not a guarantee of admission and are only distributed when seats have gone unclaimed by the original ticket holder at show time. If the subscriber (or any original ticket holder) arrives late, he/she may be seated (pending availability) at intermission. If seats are not available because of Standby seating, subscribers may then exchange their ticket(s) for another night pending availability. Unfortunately we cannot offer refunds for missed performances, so please arrive early. Most dance concerts will allow late seating as it is less disruptive to admit patrons into Morgan Auditorium after performances have begun. The house opens 30 minutes prior to curtain for all performances.
Children
Check with the Box Office when ordering tickets to determine if a production is appropriate for children. As a rule, UA Theatre and Dance does not admit children under 5 years of age into the theatres (except for those shows specifically targeted to our younger audience).
Coffee Hour
One hour prior to curtain for all Gallaway productions, subscribers can enjoy a relaxing cup of coffee and treats in the luxurious Johnson Room (next door to the Gallaway Theatre lobby).
Parking
We recognize that parking can be difficult on the University campus, especially during the daytime business hours. If you need to come by during daytime business hours (Monday through Friday, 12noon-5pm), please stop by Parking Services next to the Ferguson Center and purchase a day pass, or enter the ten Hoor Parking Deck #2 through its Campus Drive entrance and pay the $3.00 visitor’s fee as you exit. This will prevent you from finding a ticket on your car.
To make room for the new Crimson Ride Transit System, parking is no longer permitted on Stadium Drive or Marr’s Spring Road.
However, limited parking (including accessible spaces) is still available on the side and rear of the building, and patrons may temporarily pull in front of the theatre to drop off members of their party. Patrons are encouraged to park in the ten Hoor Parking Deck #1 (entrance on Stadium Drive), at no charge.
