General Information

Auditions for the Fall 2008 theatre productions will take place on Thursday, August 21st and Friday, August 22nd.
Auditions will be for Moon Over Buffalo, Wild Party, The Heiress, and Reckless and are open to anyone.

Audition Process:
1. Sign up for an audition date/time. Sign up sheet will be posted on the callboard on Monday, August 18, 2008.

2. Submit a completed audition form. Audition forms will be available in the main office beginning Monday, August 18th. Completed forms must be turned in to the main office by 4pm on Thursday, August 21st. Audition forms can also be download HERE.

3. Prepare the requested material (see below) and check-in with the stage manager by 6pm on the night of your audition.

Requested Material:
Those auditioning will have 90 seconds for their monologue. Time will be kept.
If auditioning for WILD PARTY, you should prepare a 60 second monologue plus 16 bars of a song from the show or in the style of the show (blues, jazz, cabaret). All auditioning theatre majors and minors must present a prepared audition.  Students receiving a department scholarship for performance (acting or musical theatre) are required to audition.  Auditionees should report to the Gallaway Theatre lobby and sign-in with the Stage Manager by 6pm on the day of their audition. 

How do I know if I've been cast?

Cast lists will be posted on the callboards in Rowand-Johnson Hall. Casting information is not provided online. Please follow all instructions posted on the callboard regarding acceptance of roles, physical/cosmetic changes, etc.
