From the September 2021 Desktop News | The University of Alabama College of Arts and Sciences recently selected the inaugural class of Faculty and Staff Community Engagement Fellows. The program supports faculty and staff as they develop community-engaged research, creative activities, teaching and learning initiatives. Same Pandemic, Different Attitudes
In a series of studies over the course of the global pandemic, assistant professor of geography Dr. Wanyun Shao examined the formation of risk perception and the drivers of participating in mitigation behaviors, and found some behaviors are different than what might be expected.
