Description

This course explores religious expressions in literature of the spread of African culture (its "Diaspora") by examining literary texts from Africa, the Caribbean, Latin American, and the U.S. The course attempts to use fiction to draw links between these cultures, their shared histories, their beliefs, values and worldviews.
