Honors Day 2003

On April 18, 2003, immediately following the College's Honors Day Convocation for undergraduate students, the Department hosted its own reception in Manly Hall. Prof. Tim Murphy acted as the MC and Betty Dickey and Prof. Ted Trost were the "official" photographers. Each recipient of a Silverstein Fellowship (who had already received either a $500 or a $1,000 fellowship for the coming school year) were given a copy of the HarperCollins Dictionary of Religion. Also, plaques bearing the names of all past and current REL award winners were unveiled and hung in the newly renovated REL student/faculty lounge.

Thanks to everyone who helped to make the event such a success. And congratulations to all the award winners as well as to all of our graduates!
