Retirement Reception for William Doty

On October 4, 2001, the Department of Religious Studies hosted a reception, in the Sarah Moody Art Gallery of Garland Hall, to honor Professor William G. Doty who retired after twenty years of distinguished service to the Department as well as the rest of the University of Alabama.

The Department took this opportunity also to honor its other Emeritus Professors, and longtime colleagues of William's: Patrick Green and Leon Weinberger.

Thanks to Betty Dickey for taking the following photos and for planning the event.
