Web Tutorial Procedure and Hours Japanese 1 (101) students will do the first graded oral quiz after completing Nakama 1a Chapter 2 (but you can contact us any time during tutoring hours to ask questions or to practice). Japanese 2 (102) students will do the first graded oral quiz after completing Nakama 1b Chapter 7 (but you can contact us any time during tutoring hours to ask questions or to practice). Always remember to type a greeting first in the message/text box area and ask if we are busy with another student. If so, we will put you next in line for a tutoring session and call your computer when ready. PLEASE DO NOT SUDDENLY INITIATE A VIDEO CALL without asking first. TUTORING HOURS ARE IN CENTRAL U.S. TIME ZONE! (same as Chicago) What time is it in Alabama now? Tutoring is not available during weekends or holidays. The hours below are open and first come first served. You may have to wait your turn, but we will contact you back as soon as we finish the first in line. Hours January 17- May 4 Always keep a record of when you called to do an assignment, and who you talked with, and what points you got for any Oral Quiz! The points will be posted in eLearning but PLEASE have a back-up hard copy of ALL your grade points. College credit students BE AWARE THAT YOU HAVE DEADLINES TO FINISH THESE QUIZZES and if you miss the cut-off date, you cannot make the oral quizzes up, they will be zero points. Your sessions should last between 15 and 20 minutes each. Tutoring hours close 15 minutes before the end of the period. If you have a quick question, please email it!
