Students

New College students are diverse, motivated, and independent. With depth-studies ranging from ethnomusicology to art administration to healthcare management to organic farming, New College students embrace the opportunity to exceed beyond the typical university degrees. We engage with ideas, follow our dreams, and plot our own path. Aside from doing usual class work requirements like reading and writing, we venture outside the classroom for a better understanding of our studies. We have discussion based seminar classes in which most of the discussion comes from the students. We see learning in a new way which allows us to understand our curriculum better and to be able to grasp new concepts and see things in a new light. We are a unique community on campus full of creative, smart, driven, and diverse students.
