NAASR Dues Increase for 2007
At NAASR's annual business meeting in Philadelphia in 2005 it was proposed
to increase fees due to the fact that NAASR membership dues have not been
increased in over a decade. At the 2006 business meeting in Washington
DC the proposal to increase dues was passed unanimously and Article V
of the Bylaws were changed accordingly. (Reports
from both meetings are posted on the News page.)
As of 2007, the new annual fee structure is:
• $35 Faculty Members
• $15 Students/Retirees
• $180 Six Year Members
• $350 Life Members
• $15 Annual International Mailing Fee (to reflect increased costs
for international members [i.e., those outside Canada, Mexico, and the
U.S.] to receive the CSSR Bulletin and Religious Studies Review).
