workshops will begin on Wednesday, April 14 at 1:00 p.m.
The last session of the conference will end at 6:30 p.m. on Saturday,
April 17.

Accommodations:
LAVIS III/SECOL LXX has arranged for a conference rate of $79.00 per
room per night at the Four
Points By Sheraton-Tuscaloosa Capstone, located at 320 Paul Bryant
Drive Tuscaloosa, AL 35401 . This rate will be available until March
15, 2004. To make room reservations at the conference rate, contact
the hotel directly at 205.752.3200 or 1.800.477.2262 . This hotel is
within reasonable walking distance (10 minutes) from the Ferguson Cener,
where both LAVIS III and SECOL LXX will be held. LAVIS III/SECOL LXX
will provide shuttle transportation from the hotel to the Ferguson Center
for persons who need special accomodations.
Traveling to
Tuscaloosa:
LAVIS III/SECOL
LXX will be held on the campus of the University of Alabama-Tuscaloosa
in the Ferguson Center. The nearest airport is the Birmingham
International Airport, located fifty miles from Tuscaloosa. Rental
cars are available at the airport. While regular shuttle service from
the airport to Tuscaloosa is not available, special reservations may
be made for $65 round trip through Birmingham Door-to-Door 205-591-5550.
