A liberal arts education is an exceptionally strong foundation for professional education and practice. For this reason, the College of Arts and Sciences is home to many students who plan to attend law or medical school; to pursue dentistry, optometry, pharmacy, physical therapy or other health-related professions; or to pursue other graduate programs, including MBA programs. We offer to these students academic advising to meet their specific needs, an undergraduate education that prepares them for both their chosen profession and their lives as citizens and individuals, and student organizations that offer useful and enjoyable ways to preview professional opportunities.
