Originally from Tupelo, MS, Matt Chenault is a College of Arts and Sciences academic advisor who works primarily with first-year students. His responsibilities range from advising first-year students to hosting prospective students and working with incoming students attending Bama Bound Orientation. The one piece of advice that Matt would offer to all students is “just ask.”

Matt earned his BS from the University of North Alabama and is currently pursuing a master’s in higher education at The University of Alabama. Matt has worked for the University since 2007.
