Majors and Minors

Looking for a major or minor program that clicks with your interests and goals? We offer almost half of the 80-plus majors available at The University of Alabama, so it’s likely you’ll find it here. When you do, here’s what to do next:

  • If you want to declare or change your major or add another major within the College of Arts and Sciences, simply log into myBama, click the student tab, then look for the major/minor button.
  • If you want to declare a major (or second major) that’s offered by a different division of The University of Alabama, such as the business school, contact the advising office of the other college. Consult the list of colleges on the UA website for help.

If you find that you’ve still got questions or concerns, ask your advisor or contact A&S Student Services. We’ll be happy to help you find and enroll in the academic program that’s right for you.
