Dilin Liu teaches applied linguistics/TESOL and coordinates the Applied Linguistics/TESOL program. He received his Ph.D. in English from Oklahoma State University. Before joining the faculty at UA in 2006, he taught and directed the TESOL program at Oklahoma City University for 15 years. His research interests include corpus linguistics, grammar, lexis, pedagogy, and sociolinguistics. Liu has been a member of the Editorial Advisory Boards of English Language Teaching Journal (2001-2004), TESOL Quarterly (2005-2008), Reflections on English Language Teaching (2006-), and TESOL Journal (2009-2013). He has also served on the Fulbright National Screening Committee in charge of selecting English Language Teaching candidates. He is also a curriculum advisor for the Walt Disney's "Disney English" Language Teaching program.
