DEPARTMENT NEWS

The paintings by Alvin C. Sella, Professor Emeritus, will be featured in an exhibition entitled Recent Paintings at Space 301 located in downtown Mobile, Alabama. This exhibit was curated by Clayton V.Colvin. He has integrated paintings by former students Nick Davis, Catherine B. Dominick, Jerry Roldan, Ty Smith and Pat Snow into the installation. Two exhibits are on view in the Art Department. Shelia McManus is presenting her MA thesis exhibit entitled Reconstruct in the ASL Gallery located in Woods Hall. The Sarah Moody Gallery of Art, located at 103 Garland Hall is featuring two exhibits. Rob Matthews' Knoxville Girl and Christopher Davison's Darkness / Light /Darkness. Exhibits will remain on view in the Sarah Moody Gallery through September 21st. Gallery hours are 9:00 - 4:30pm Monday - Friday. For further information call 348-1890.
