ANT 412/512
last revision: 12-22-01
This bibliography has been compiled for use in ANT 412/512 (Peoples of Europe) at The University of Alabama. Since past experience suggests that few students in this course can read Spanish, only English language entries are included. Of course, no bibliography on a complex topic is likely to be complete and this is certainly true of this one. The browser who wishes a much more comprehensive and exhaustive bibliography could do no better than consult Investigadores e investigados: Literatura antropologica en España desde 1954. A 1999 special edition of the Catalan journal Arxiu d' Etnograpfia de Catalunya, this magnificent example of bibliographic research at its best was compiled by a team under the direction of Dr. Joan Prat of the Institut Tarragonés d'Antropologia.
Any additions to or corrections of this bibliography would be most gratefully received. Any suggestions for improvement can be sent to mdmurphy@tenhoor.as.ua.edu
There are several online journals devoted to Spanish anthropology:
