Dr. Ann Webb oversees the programs and staff of the Office of Student Services, which include academic advising, transfer and graduation audits, academic bankruptcy, College of Arts and Sciences scholarships, the College of Arts and Sciences Parker-Adams freshman experience, and the Capstone living-learning community in Harris Hall. Dr. Webb received master’s and doctorate degrees in history from the University of Connecticut and a bachelor’s degree in history from Winthrop College in South Carolina. She has been employed with the University since 1996.
Brandi Sutton works with Dr. Ann Webb, assistant dean of the College and director of Student Services, as well as Chris Hutt and Ann Marie Staub, the College’s health professions advisors. She schedules appointments for Dr. Webb, Mr. Hutt and Ms. Staub. Ms. Sutton also collects academic bankruptcy petitions in the College and processes finished composites to medical schools as part of the College’s medical school application assistance program. She assists with the Arts and Sciences scholarship process and supports all aspects of operations in Student Services. She has been employed at the University since 2002.

Julia Gibler advises College of Arts and Sciences students in American studies, pre-major studies, Spanish, economics, and philosophy. She also serves as an academic advisor to the Parker-Adams and Harris Hall Freshman living-learning communities. Along with helping students with their academic planning, Mrs. Gibler coordinates programs for both living-learning communities. She earned her master’s degree in English from the University of Kentucky, and has been employed by the University since 2007.

Caramyl Drake addresses transfer student concerns. Ms. Drake is responsible for evaluating transfer credit from out-of-state schools and all four-year-schools in Alabama. She also pre-approves courses for students who want to go to other out-of-state or Alabama four-year educational institutions for the summer. Ms. Drake is active with incoming students and new student orientation. She holds a bachelor's degree in human services and has been employed at the University since 1999.
Ann Marie Staub

Ann Marie Staub is one of the health professions advisors and advises students interested in studying science and math-related fields. In addition, Ms. Staub performs degree audits for students with science and mathematics majors. Originally from Pittsburgh, Penn., she holds a bachelor's degree in chemistry from Seton Hill University and performed graduate work in biochemistry at Indiana University in Bloomington. She has been employed at the University since 2006.
Tim Dillard serves as the College registrar and works with Jeannie Thomley and others staff members to conduct graduation audits. Mr. Dillard also handles transcript evaluations for initiation into Phi Beta Kappa National Honor Society. Previously, he served as the College's pre-law advising coordinator and has been employed at the University since 1986.
Autumn Faulkner is the newest academic advisor in Clark Hall. She works with students interested in pre-criminal justice, dance, and pre-majors studies. She graduated with a bachelor's degree in English from Berry College and has been employed at The University of Alabama since 2007.
Linda Greene works with new student orientation and is an advisor to students in the College of Arts and Sciences. She advises pre-major students and reviews senior graduation audits. In addition, she advises undecided majors in the upper-division and works closely with students in academic difficulty. Mrs. Greene has a bachelor’s degree in psychology from The University of Alabama and has been employed at the University since 1989.
Matt Chenault assists College of Arts and Sciences students with advising, especially those who are in pre-major studies, history, and international studies. Mr. Chenault has a bachelor’s degree in history from The University of North Alabama. He has been employed at the University since 2007.

Barbara Allen works closely with Jeannie Thomley and Tim Dillard in assisting students who are preparing to graduate. She handles graduation applications, major/minor declaration forms and independent study applications. In addition, she is the contact person for any questions concerning graduation or regarding honor stoles. She has been employed at the University since 2000.
Nancy Twilley assists College of Arts and Sciences students with advising, specifically English and modern languages and classics majors. She works as an advisor on a part-time basis. Mrs. Twilley graduated from The University of Alabama and holds a master’s degree in secondary education focusing on English studies. She has been employed at the University since 2003.

Cindy Channell is an academic advisor for College of Arts and Sciences students, especially those interested in pre-major studies and international studies. She assists students with international transfer credit from study abroad programs, as well as other questions concerning transfer credit. Mrs. Channell has taught freshman composition courses at the University and local junior colleges. In her spare time, she is a free lance editor for various works including children’s books. She earned her master’s degree in English from The University of Alabama, and has been employed by the University for more than 10 years.

Wendy McMillian is the pre-law advising coordinator in the Office of Student Services. Along with helping students with their academic planning, she advises students interested in the pre-criminal justice and political science programs, as well as undecided pre-major students in Arts and Sciences. She also assists with the coordination of summer orientation. Mrs. McMillian has a master's degree from The University of Alabama in Higher Education Administration with a concentration in student personnel work. She has been employed at the University since 1996.

Dara Bacon is the first person you see when you walk into the Office of Student Services. She assist with the Arts and Sciences Web site, academic announcements, course drops, audit requests, and letters of good standing. She is also responsible for referring students to the most appropriate office to answer their questions and/or assist with their academic plans. She holds a bachelor's degree in public relations from Western Kentucky University, and has been employed at the University since 2007.

Jeannie Thomley serves as the College registrar and oversees the maintenance of student records for the College. She also updates the undergraduate catalog and conducts graduation degree audits for those who have applied for their diploma. Before her term as college registrar, Mrs. Thomley was the health professions advisor for the College. She has been employed at the University since 1981.

Chris Hutt is one of the health professions advisors. He assists students with course selections and the application process to medical, dental, optometry, physical therapy, pharmacy, veterinary and other health professional schools. In addition, Mr. Hutt is the chapter advisor of Alpha Epsilon Delta, the University’s pre-medical honor society as well as Phi Delta Sigma, the University’s pre-dental honor society. He has been employed at the University since 2003.
Nancy Shockley advises College of Arts and Sciences students in pre-major studies, pre-psychology, dance, theatre, and religious studies. In addition, Mrs. Shockley teaches a Freshman Compass Course, AS101, to help new freshman transition into the university setting. She is a graduate of The University of Alabama with a bachelor’s degree in history.
