Dr. Mark Lanier, a professor in the Department of Criminal Justice and assistant to the dean for special projects in the College, and Douglas Klutz, an instructor in the Department of Criminal Justice, have established a support fund with proceeds from their recently published textbook Introduction to Criminal Justice and Criminology. The text is being used by The University of Alabama and other large universities such as San Diego State University. The fund, which will be endowed when it reaches the minimum level of $10,000, will be used to support academic needs in the fields of justice, law, and society in the Department of Criminal Justice.
